The old style timber framed were beauties to look at, and built to last. Unfortunately, the softer railings that sat on the edge of a timber framed bed (cap rail) to make it a little softer for you to get in and out of, can be worn down over time. But never fear, we can also make new rail caps for your bed.
Some of these old rail caps were ornate and special on their own. We at Dreamlover love the old timber beds, and we can definitely see the appeal of them. We can make new rail caps in many different finishes and fabrics. All we need are some simple measurements, or the original rail cap if possible, and we can start to manufacture a new one for you. With a little TLC, these old timber framed beds can last another 30 years.
